No QGIS plugin? You can publish from the website. Open Upload a map in your team's menu (team administrators).
Send your project
- Drag the project folder onto the page, or choose a zip of it. Up to 500 MB.
- Sending your whole GIS folder is fine: we only unpack the files the chosen project uses, plus a
3d_modelsfolder beside it (your 3D models for the Underground view: Preparing your project). - If the upload holds several QGIS projects, the page asks which one to publish.
What happens next
- The upload is checked at once (file types, sizes, safety).
- Within a few minutes the project is converted and published. Broken paths are repaired by matching file names, formats are converted, big provincial layers are clipped.
- You get an email, and the page shows the report.
Reading the report
The report is grouped so the most important things come first: why a map was not published, layers left out (with the fix for each group), things worth checking, what we fixed and converted for you, and files that were not used.
At the top, an AI explanation turns the report into plain steps for your project. It sees only the report and layer names, never your data, and it can be wrong. Use Ask about this upload for follow-up questions.
Updating
Upload the same project again to replace the map. It keeps its address, and the previous two versions are kept for safety.
