Your map on your own website

The WordPress plugin, or one snippet for Divi, Wix, Squarespace and the rest.

Your live map can sit on your company's website, next to the news release, instead of a static figure. Visitors pan, zoom, switch to 3D and see the drilling, without leaving your site.

1. Ask us for an embed

  • Tell us which map, and every address it should appear on: your site with and without www, and any staging site.
  • We send you an embed link (https://maps.minexmaps.com/e/...) and a short snippet. The map only appears on the sites we list for it; anywhere else it refuses to load.
  • The link and the snippet are also at the bottom of your portal page, under "Put this map on your website" (unless we switched that panel off for you), with the sites each embed may appear on. A map still in preview shows on your site once it goes live.

2a. WordPress: the plugin

  1. Download the MinexMaps Embed plugin (from us, or maps/wordpress-plugin when signed in).
  2. In WordPress: Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install and activate.
  3. Paste the embed link on its own line in a page or post, or use the shortcode: [minexmaps url="https://maps.minexmaps.com/e/..." height="600"].
  4. Divi: put the shortcode in a Code or Text module. Elementor: a Shortcode widget.

2b. Any other site: the snippet

Paste the snippet we sent into your site builder's embed or HTML block (Wix Embed code, Squarespace Code block, Webflow Embed, a Divi Code module). Change height:600px if you want it taller.

Good to know

  • Investor-relations platforms (Adnet, Q4 and similar) control their own pages: ask them to allow a frame from maps.minexmaps.com.
  • Switching an embed off, or changing its sites, takes effect within about a minute.
  • Each embed's opens are on the map's Links and stats tab and its settings page (On your website); its visitors also count on Usage.
  • The AI assistant is off on embeds until you switch it on for one: the map's settings page, On your website, tick AI assistant for its visitors and Save (it also needs the map's assistant on for everyone who opens the map: The AI map assistant). On your website.
